Unusual Chickens for the Exceptional Poultry Farmer
There’s a girl who just moved into a different farm, and is writing letters to her dead grandparents, and someone put them together to make a book. She keeps on finding chickens that are magic, so she decides to ask the person who sold them to her grandpa what type of chickens they are. It is fun to learn about the different types of chickens, and it’s a fun book because there is this one chicken that always looks angry in the pictures. It’s fun to read about the chicken’s super powers. One chicken has telekinesis, one can run really fast, one can turn things to stone, and one can turn invisible. There were seven chickens, and she has to figure out what all the chickens can do. It’s hard for the girl to not tell anyone, but she’s trying to keep it a secret so people don’t steal her chickens. But taking care of them helped her not miss her grandparents so much. I like this book because she is going through challenges, but she figures out good solutions. It’s also really funny!
