Description
Unraveled blasts humor and excitement, both at once. Having read the whole series, I had high expectations, but this book met them almost perfectly.
In Unraveled, after running away from the Lost Cities, teenage Keefe Sencen finds himself in the unfamiliar world of the Forbidden Cities. When he realizes how unfamiliar that is however, Keefe pushes the boundaries of who he can trust. With newly discovered friends, old ones recovered, and his old world not as far as he believed it was, a changed Keefe battles the new challenges, and the old ones.
Unraveled brings enormous revelations and constant humor, dragging the characters we love back to join interesting figures from Humanland. Keefe is more hilarious, and more real than ever before. The plot moves smoothly along the curving peak of the exciting rise of a well told, compelling story. However, this book has more jokes and humor than productivity for the first half of the book.
In general, I would recommend this book series for readers between ages nine and fourteen that enjoy fantasy novels centered on children, such as The School for Good and Evil.
