Tyrannosaurus Ralph
This is a funny graphic novel about a boy turned into a dinosaur who can’t save himself from a bully but is expected to save the planet! Ralph’s already tough day turns into the adventure of a lifetime when he gets turned into a T-Rex by Professor Overdrive. Overdrive is trying to save the world from being destroyed by Clobberus Crunch. To do that, Overdrive has to find a champion on Earth to fight the aliens and save the Earth from destruction. The story follows Tyrannosaurus Ralph as he prepares for battle, encounters strange creatures, and makes some unlikely friends. Ultimately, Ralph faces his fears and becomes stronger for it. This is a funny story that keeps your attention. The illustrations are colorful and lively. The dialogue is well written but sometimes more details would have been nice. I didn’t get to know Ralph as much as I wished for because the story focuses more on the fighting, but I did like him and rooted for him. The other characters were lively and interesting. This is a good book for kids who like action-packed battles and funny creatures. It will make you laugh.
