Two Girls Want a Puppy
Two girls named Kate and Emmy really want a puppy, but their dad says no. Their father always tells them that they should never give up, so they keep asking and asking and asking. Their father also says they should be more responsible, so they take care of their neighbors’ dog while they are away on vacation. They even clean up after him. But they still cannot get a puppy. So, they learn more about dogs. And then, they make something that shows they can be super creative as well. It’s a book about dogs with lots and lots of facts. Their dad sees that they can be persistent, responsible, clever, and creative. Finally, they’re allowed to get one.
They take all their father’s advice and outwit him. It’s funny because while the father is saying to be responsible, and to never give up, he doesn’t realize he’s actually telling them to convince him to get a puppy. You can learn information about dogs in this book too, like dogs have lived with humans for a very long time. No doubt about it, you should read this book!
