Tree Beings
Tree Beings is a book about people finding ways to change the world, either by saving trees or planting trees all around the world. The author is very passionate about really telling what is happening throughout the book. The illustrator did a nice job of showing what was happening along with the author. They really worked together—the illustrator using pictures and the author using descriptive stories that make you care about the subject. This book would be great for different schools or families that are learning about nature because it tells different stories about kids wanting to change the world and make it better. They were heartbroken when they heard that the famous redwood trees were getting chopped down and did some really crazy things to save them. Tree Beings is a book that will inspire you to plant lots of your own trees and give you a feel for how nature is important and how it’s involved in our lives and how trees help us stay alive.
