Tomorrow

Tomorrow by Nadine Kaadan was a really good book. I didn’t understand it at first, and it made me a little sad, but then my mom reminded me of the countries where there are wars and where children aren’t safe to play like we are here. I felt sad for the little boy who just wanted his life to be normal again. I also felt sad for the mommy who just wanted to paint. I loved that she painted him his own park in the house so that he could feel like he still had some happy place. After we read the book, my mom and I said a prayer that those families that have to be in war can have peace again soon. The pictures and colors in the book are beautiful too.
