Tofu Takes Time
A little girl learns how to make tofu with her grandmother. Making tofu from scratch takes a long time, and it tests the little girl’s patience. During the process, she is excited and keeps asking if the tofu is ready yet. Her grandmother gently reminds her that making tofu takes time, and she will need to be patient until it is ready. Will the little girl be patient enough to wait until the tofu is ready?
I had been wondering how tofu is made, so when I saw that there’s a picture book about tofu, I was excited to review it. Tofu Takes Time is a very cute book about a little girl wanting to learn how to make tofu with her NaiNai. I think it is so cute that she wants to spend time with her NaiNai. It is all worth it in the end when the family sits down for a delicious meal of handmade tofu. This is a wonderful book about family and learning from your elders. I recommend this book to anyone who is curious about how tofu is made.
