Toby Goes Bananas

This book is sort of like a comic book. Toby is a kid. He’s kind of naughty. He has weird dreams. Toby’s mom is smarter than his dad. I like the comic about Toby doing the dishes and his little sister picking up the broken pieces. I don’t think Toby is a good brother. He definitely doesn’t set a good example. Toby likes to mess with grown-ups. It makes him happy. One of my favorite comics is about George, Toby’s friend, who is having trouble putting a puzzle together. (I don’t want to spoil it, so read the book to see how it ends.) Toby has a few funny friends. A lot of the book is about school. Mrs. Smith is Toby’s teacher. Toby is not a good student. Toby’s work seems advanced, but he makes it fun for himself. Toby is never going to graduate. His answers are ridiculous. I find his answers funny. His teacher doesn’t.

There’s no big story. This book is a bunch of comics. I liked this book a lot. I’ll read it again and look for more Toby comics. The drawings are simple. They’re good. People who like silly things will like this book. This book is not hard at all to read.
