Timeline: A Visual History of Our World
TimeLine This book is about the history of our world through illustrations. It begins with the big bang where Earth was created by the forming of rocks. These true sequences cover World War I and II, the Egyptians, the Roman Empire, the Byzantine Empire, the dark ages, the renaissance, and so much more! This book ends with the 2010’s where there is terrorism and conflict over power. The language of this story kept me interested and made me wonder what was going to happen next. The illustrations to this history were very well done and suitable to the book.
My favorite illustration was a picture called the beginning of humans. The reason I like it is because it shows the humans walking with each other and look very satisfied. People 9 and up should read this book. I would recommend this book if you are interested in history. This book is so fun to read because it has cool pictures and after you read it you learn a ton about some things that you never thought was possible or real!
