Time Bomb
This is a suspenseful and action-packed story that will keep you reading until the last page. Seven students are trapped at school after bombs explode and one of them is responsible! This story follows seven teenagers, Cas, Diana, Frankie, Rashid, Tad, Z, and Kaitlin, who are struggling to escape from the high school while more bombs are still going off. They don’t all know each other, and they don’t even trust or like each other. As they help each other survive, they figure out how to work together as more bombs are expected to explode. Six of them share their perspectives and problems, which include bullying, suicidal thoughts, the death of a parent, being stereotyped, racism, homophobia, and more. The story is told from different points of view, and you get to know what they are struggling with. The author writes well and gives us a sense of each character so that you understand how they are feeling as you get to know them a bit better. There is a plot twist at the end when you find out who the bomber is. This is a good book for anyone above age 12 who likes action and thrillers.
