Time Atlas is a book written by Robert Hegarty. This amazing book is filled with FASCINATING facts all about the world millions of years ago and up to the present. In this book there is an interesting fact about something I love: Pokemon! Did you know that Pokemon was released in 1995, long before I was even born?! I loved reading about that because Pokemon is one of my favorite topics. Here’s a funny fact: Did you know that in the 16th century in Britain, pajamas were nicknamed “moghul’s breeches”? That made me laugh so much. The book has an interesting statement: “We are still in an ice age.” But when I asked him, my 4th grade math/social studies teacher said: “We are NOT in an ice age. That is because the sun caused the glaciers to melt.” This book contains names that you cannot even pronounce. Try saying this: the Etemenanki. If you sing it makes it easy to say! Boys and girls of all ages who love history will enjoy this book.
