Tilly and Tank

Tilly & Tank by Jay Fleck is about an elephant named Tilly and a Tank who discover each other. Tilly thought Tank was an elephant, and Tank thought Tilly was an enemy. Tilly was curious about Tank, so she went to check him out. Tank’s alarm wailed and his barrel BOOMED very loudly. Tank scared Tilly away. Then Tilly had an idea while she laid on the patch of flowers. Tilly brought a flower to Tank, but he didn’t know it was just a flower. Tank thought it was a weapon. Tank’s barrel BOOMED very loudly again. Tilly ran away and dropped the flower. Tank examined the flower and realized Tilly was not an enemy. Tank and Tilly became friends. The story and the drawings are super cute! I like how the story is about friendship and how brave Tilly was and kept trying to be friends with Tank. I really hope there will be a sequel to this book.
