Til Death (Entangled Teen)
Selena has dream-visions and has foreseen her death. Dylan, a washed up Guardian who has miserably failed and shamed his illustrious family name, is sent as punishment to live with his Boogeyman Uncle, who’s also be a teacher at the high school. Beyond perturbed after an awkward introduction resulting in a painfully electrifying handshake, Dylan doesn’t know what Selena is, but the shock was undeniably a warning to stay away from her. Problem is his job will be to keep her alive.
Book 1 of the Fractured Souls series, Til Death is a uniquely written fantasy novel with two first-person narratives. This style works exceptionally well as it provides insight into both main characters reasoning and motives. Dillan’s character is written with ample vulgarity from page one and gets tiresome. Readers would have understood his temperament and teen angst without all of the “I-am-a-guy-filled-with-raging-inner-turmoil; therefore-I-must-use-foul-language-every-time-my-mouth-opens.” Selena is probably one of the most normal teens ever, being not too tough and not to weak. Together, these characters will leave you unable to put the book down and filling you with a burning hunger for the next in this series to arrive!
