Thorfinn and the Terrible Treasure

This book is about two Viking tribes who find treasure. They fight over it, and finally one tribe’s leader makes a bet that if his son, Thorfinn, can’t guard the treasure overnight, the other tribe will get both the treasure and his village! But the treasure naturally goes missing, and Thorfinn and his friends have to find it. I thought this adventure book was comical and very simple. It was such an easy book, I read all one hundred and thirty-eight pages in about thirty minutes. If you don’t like to finish books so quickly, be warned! However, the plot was cute, and I would certainly read it again. The illustrations were cartoons, and there were very many of them. I thought they helped the story line because they showed the personalities of all the characters well. This book is a series, and I would like to read more. For people who like mysteries, a fun plot, and Vikings, this is the book for you! I would definitely recommend it.
