Things That Grow
The book is called Things That Grow, but it is not just about things that are alive; it talks about other things that grow, too. The first part of the book is about plants. It has a lot of good information, like about how plants start from seeds, how they reproduce, how they help the air, and even how some plants can survive in really harsh places. The next part of the book is about animals. It talks about eggs and different ways animals can grow. The last part of the book talks about how the Earth has grown, like how mountains are formed and even how the universe began.
You will really like this book as soon as you pick it up. It is small, but it has really nice pages and illustrations. The pictures are all painted in watercolors and are all quite beautiful. They make you really care about what the book is telling you about, and you feel like they are very natural and make you feel closer to nature, which is what the book is about. You will enjoy reading this book whether or not you know very much about science and nature.
