There’s Nothing to Do!
This book is about a frog who doesn’t have anything to do, or maybe he just doesn’t want to do anything. He has lots of stuff to do. He gets lots of suggestions from his dad and his friends. (I’d play with the toys.) The frog doesn’t like “Pig’s Fantastic List of Things to Do When He Doesn’t Know What to Do.” A girl frog teaches the frog how to enjoy doing nothing. He decides he wants to do nothing tomorrow, so then he doesn’t want to go to school.
I don’t know if I understand the end. I like I Don’t Want to Be Big better. It’s funnier. In this book, he is a really complain-y frog. Pig seems different, too. He seems more childish.
The illustrations are good. I like the owl the best. I also like the picture when the frog figures out what he wants to do. The scenery is nice.
I can’t relate to the frog. I always know what to do. The frog might have learned something in the end. It’s confusing. Maybe he just doesn’t want to go to school.
