There’s a Walrus in My Bed!

This book is a little confusing, but really funny. There is a boy, Flynn, who gets a new bed. He wants to go to sleep, but there’s a walrus in his bed! His mom and dad don’t believe it–they just think Flynn doesn’t want to go to sleep. He has to get the walrus a snack and a drink and extra blankets and a glass of milk. His parents think it is just for Flynn. But finally Flynn asks if the walrus can sleep in his parents’ bed. Then they really get a surprise!

After you read this book, you will want to go back and look at the pictures at the front and back of the inside covers – there is a surprise there that is really funny, too! The pictures in this book are really cute, especially the walrus. I like Flynn’s expressions; you can tell he is really nice but just wants to go to bed! And the walrus has really funny expressions, too. My favorite part is when Flynn carries a bunch of snacks to the walrus – it is a huge tray, because it is a huge walrus! This funny book is great for everyone.
