Nora’s grandmother tells Nora that there’s a tiger in the garden because she’s bored. There are also dragonflies the size of birds, a grumpy polar bear, and even plants that can swallow you alive. So she takes her favorite stuffed animal with her to check it out. She discovers that all those things are true.

Tigers are my favorite animal! And this book happens to have them. It’s cute that the tiger can talk. He’s also a very nice tiger, and it surprises Nora because she believed that he wouldn’t be.

I love plants! There’s a beautiful garden where you get to see all the beautiful, amazing plants. My favorite page has lots of birds and crazy plants. One is yellow with red dots and another is red with balls at the end of the stems. I’ve only seen these plants in this strange garden. And another plant looks like octopus tentacles on a tree. These pictures are amazing.

I think this book would be great for kids who can’t read yet because the pictures are big and detailed. The words also aren’t too hard to read yourself. If you like tigers and gardens, you are going to like this book.
