The Zodiac Legacy: The Dragon’s Return

In the last book, Stephan and his friends discovered that they have magical zodiac powers. They also discovered that they have a new enemy, Maxwell, who tried to take all their powers so he can rule the world. In this book, however, some of the other Zodiacs, who had once been part of Maxwell’s team, decided that they didn’t want to serve Maxwell anymore. While Stephan is trying to keep his team together, Jasmine, his team’s leader, is going crazy trying to find their technician, Carlos. Meanwhile, Maxwell is concocting a new plan to lure Stephan and Jasmine to his hideout so he can end their powers once and for all.

I didn’t like this book as much as I liked the first one; Stephan’s powers were really ‘off-and-on’, where sometimes he had them and sometimes he didn’t but then found that he did again – it was a little irritating. But I still really liked the suspense and that Stephan was able to make lots of new friends, and I still felt like it was a fun read. I definitely want to read the last book when it is available to see how it all turns out!
