The World’s Greatest Chocolate-Covered Pork Chops
The World’s Greatest Chocolate Covered Pork Chops is a hilarious and inspiring story about twelve-year-old Zoe who already is a great chef and decides to open up her very own restaurant. Zoe has to persuade the bank for a loan, find a location, and convince her parents to open up Zoelicious and fulfill her big dream.
During a ride on a cable car in her hometown, San Francisco, she finally has the idea to open her restaurant in a trolley. Friends and family come together and find three trolleys in a junkyard, fix them up, and help Zoe bring her dream to life.
At the same time, Zoe enters the golden token competition to get the highest chef award. She learns that her hard work and family teamwork pay off in the end.
I loved this book because it’s about kids cooking amazing dishes and believing that your dreams can come true. The funniest part in this book was when Zoe’s best friend enters a hot dog eating contest and wins ten thousand dollars for her. I would recommend this book for kids ages eight and up.
