The Wind in the Willows
Join silly, aristocratic Toad and his faithful friends, Rat, Mole, and Badger, in their adventures. In one story, Toad loves motorcars more than anything else. He especially loves to drive FAST. But his dangerous driving becomes a real problem for his neighbors. Can his friends keep him from going to jail? Or would jail actually be good for him? See Toad as a washerwoman! Discover secret tunnels under Toad Hall! Boo the rotten weasels! Find out if Toad ever learns to be a sensible Toad.
I’ve read other versions of Wind in the Willows, and this is my favorite. The illustrations are beautiful and really make the story come to life. Toad and his friends are hilarious. Some parts of the book are a bit boring, but I read those sections quickly so I can get to the exciting parts. I’d recommend this book to everyone.
