The Way to the Zoo

Sylvie saw a door on her wall one night. She found a passageway. She went down the passageway and found herself in the zoo! That was surprising! She went back to bed with a little bear. Another night she brought a tiger back with her cub, and another night she let the birds come in to sleep in her room. Some animals would stink things and some would steal things, so she put them back to the zoo. One day, Sylvie heard a noise coming from the living room: it was filled with animals! She screamed at them all to go home, to go back to the zoo! Sylvie had to clean up the mess before her mother got home.

I like this book so much because it’s fun. The best part was when they were doing the penguin walk. The pictures look like they were drawn with crayons, and I like the animals. My favorite animal was the baby elephant, because he was in tears because he was too big for the passageway. I didn’t like Sylvie because she shouted at the animals, but they were being naughty and they made a big mess. But I still like the animals.
