The Vigilante Poets of Selwyn Academy
Ethan has always been a bit in awe of his best friend, Luke. Luke is exciting, genuine, and sincere, and has always been there for Ethan. They both go to Selwyn Academy, along with Ethan’s other friends, Jackson and Elizabeth. Their academy used to be focused on the arts, but ever since seedy Reality TV Show came to their school, it has been ruining the artistic lives of all the students. Luke decides he’s had enough, and begins to strike back, using poets and the school newspaper, but when Luke turns against his friends, Ethan, Jackson and Elizabeth have to find a way to get him back.
I loved the way the narrator put things in a very funny light. It is all very funny. Ethan was a very realistic, down-to-earth person. I enjoyed his point of view and his ability to point out the humor in situations. All the characters were realistic and believable, and multi-dimensional. I enjoyed the plot twists of the story and the situations that they got themselves into. I hope to read more from this excellent author.
