The Very Hungry Mummy (Monsters)

So a mummy wakes up and she is very hungry. Since she had been asleep for quite some time she is very hungry and has forgotten how to interact with others. The mummy scares everyone but one girl off, but she won’t stop shouting. Finally, the girl helps her get her food but then the mummy is cold. Oops! She unraveled and needs to get back to her slumber.

This was a cute book but it was also somewhat cheesy. The illustrations were cute and colorful. The thing that I disliked most about the book was how the little girl left the mummy food for later but it was a salad and would go bad quickly. Although I did like they were promoting health food like salad. Overall, a very interesting read.
