The Ugly Five

The Ugly Five is a fictional story about five ugly animals. One by one, they tell you the five ugly animals: the wildebeest, the spotted hyena, the lappet-faced vulture, the warthog, and the marabou stork. The animals think they are really ugly, and so they all get together to form a group. In the end, their babies did not think they were ugly at all. Their babies thought they were very beautiful! Looks don’t matter! I I like the illustrations and the colors that were used. The colors blend in to make the pictures look realistic. The story and the plot was perfect, and I like how the story rhymes. I didn’t like how the preview copy was unbound and the pages kept falling off while reading. It was annoying and made it hard to read.
