The Truth

A suspenseful story about a shooting involving a teenage boy, his brother and the ex con brother of the victim. This book was about what happens when a break-in turns into a shooting and it only leaves you with one question…who was holding the gun? The plot of the book was excitingly suspenseful and full of action! The two main characters in the book , Devon and Chris are just normal teenage brothers caught in a tough situation.

The language in the book was easy to relate to. The moral of the story was that telling the truth is always the easiest for you and everyone else but its not always what you want to hear. On the cover of the book it says THE TRUTH in duct tape and that made me think it was a crime story before I read the back cover.This would be a great book for teens and young adults.I don’t think this book would make a good series. This book reminds me of Rick Riordon because like his books THE TRUTH was action packed and suspenseful. I would definitely recommend this book to most of the people I know. I couldn’t put this book down as soon as I picked it up!!!
