The Trials of Apollo Book Two The Dark Prophecy
This book is about the sun god Apollo, who was stripped of his godly powers by his dad, Zeus, the king of the gods. He is now called Lester. Lester is not used to being mortal and is not used to his mortal limitations. He has never been on a quest before, so he struggles. He is looking for his demigod master, Megan, who can command him to do literally anything. So on his quest he is traveling with Leo (son of Hephastus) and Calypso (daughter of Atlas the Titan). Lester is going to find Trophonius the prophecy teller to hear his own prophecy. The plot of this story was very entertaining and funny to read! The characters of this book were very brave and inspiring. At the beginning of the book, Lester was afraid and a coward, but then at the end he became so attached to his friends that he was willing to die for them. The language of this quest was wonderful, especially the Shakespearean English. I think ages 10 and up would love this publication! I definitely recommend this book if you like a good fantasy adventure! This book was so great, I just simply cannot wait for the next book!
