The Tree of Water (Lost Journals of Ven Polypheme)
Ven and his friend Amariel go to a coral reef, where they meet a sea lirin named Corean. They go with him to deliver a message to the sea king at the summer festival. On the way, they run into a Megalodon and three great white sharks. The Megalodon is tricked into eating the great white sharks, instead of them, and they get away as soon as possible. At the summer festival, they find that a water tornado has been created. They soon find a huge, gigantic sea dragon that has been collecting ships. The sea dragon lends them a bell that leads them down to the deepest part of the sea to find the water tree they have been looking for, named Frotha.
I thought this book had a lot of exciting events. I could kind of tell from the way the characters were acting what they were going to do, but I could never really know. I felt like I was in the book; I could see the pictures in my mind and the further I got in the less I wanted to leave it. After reading this book I want to read all the other books too!
