The Tiltersmith

We rated this book:

Although it’s spring in Brooklyn, the ground is still frozen and the sky remains clouded with storms and snow. Friends Bridget, Edward, Feenix, and Danton have been awaiting the start of the year, but they continue to be battered by freak storms. When a strange man named Tiltersmith arrives at their school and a series of strange events follow his appearance, they begin to suspect evil magical forces are more to blame than climate change. Can they save the Lady of Spring before the deadline? Or will they be doomed to the cold fury of winter forever?

I liked this book because it was enrapturing from the start. It made me want to flip pages until the very end! The four main characters narrating the story were realistic and interesting, and I feel like I really got to know them throughout the story. I liked that it was surrounding the idea set by so many myths about the change of seasons, where the magic meets an all-new idea. I would recommend this to fans of The Time Fetch and to anyone else looking for a thrilling, roller-coaster adventure!
