This book in a non-fiction book and it’s one of my favorite non-fiction books because it’s told like a story, but written in a way that feels like the reader is with the scientists searching for the tapir. The book tells you how to look for a tapir as it talks about the journey of the scientists. You get to learn about what the scientists do in the field and you get to see other animals along the way too. The photography is real so the reader sees what the scientists really did when they were looking for the Tapir. The real pictures make you feel like you are in the field too. It’s very exciting to read and I kept waiting and waiting for them to find a Tapir. They aren’t easy to find though so I’m not going to tell you if they find one. Read this great book to find out for yourself.
