The Taken (Foxcraft #1)

We rated this book:

Isla and her brother Pirie are very close. They do everything together. They play together, they sleep together, and they eat together. But when odd foxes show up, Isla runs away and finds herself stranded in the city. She looks everywhere for her brother and makes friends on the way, but makes more enemies and struggles to survive in the large and vast city.

It is an unforgettable story about a fox and her family. It is very good for animal lovers. How can you go wrong when you combine talking animals and magic! I recommend it for younger readers perhaps in 4th, 5th, or 6th grade. The author, Inbali Iserles, wrote some of the books in the award winning Survivors series (about a group of dogs). Now it’s happening all over again but this time it is about foxes. I can’t wait to read her next few books. If you like animals as much as I do, then I totally recommend reading Inbali Iserles’s new book FoxCraft and I also recommend reading the Survivors series. Read this book!
