The Story of Mademoiselle Oiseau
Isabella feels like she is really invisible and no one pays attention to her. But one day, she accidentally presses the wrong elevator button, floor six instead of five. She goes into the apartment of Madame Oiseau. She starts going there every day after school, and she always feels a little bit better about herself every day after going there. They go on a picnic and Madame Oiseau gives a cat to Isabella, and Isabella gives a cat to Madame Oiseau. They live in Paris, and Madame Oiseau has a lot of cats. One day Madame Oiseau wants to go visit her sister in Venice. So Madame Oiseau lets Isabella take care of her cats.
This book is fun because it has a lot of cats, and Madame Oiseau is kind of like my grandma. It was really nice that Madame Oiseau and Isabella became friends and that Isabella started to feel better about herself. It was good for Madame Oiseau too, because she was like an aunt to Isabella and she liked doing things with her. The pictures are fun and colorful, and Madame Oiseau is very fancy. This is a really fun book.
