The Sticky Rice Caper (Graphic Novel) (Carmen Sandiego Graphic Novels)

Carmen Sandiego is a super sneaky thief who steals from VILE, an evil organization. The story begins with a boat chase in France. Carmen and her team barely get away from two agents! On her latest adventure, they are headed to Indonesia, which is an island country between the Indian and Pacific Oceans. Carmen’s old nemesis, Tigress, is also in Indonesia on a secret mission for VILE.

At Dr. Bellum’s lab, Carmen discovers super spores on sticky rice. These nefarious spores can wipe out an entire crop of rice in a few hours. Carmen must find Tigress to discover what she means to do with the super spores before it is too late!

I liked this book because it was a graphic novel with great pictures. The fight scenes between Carmen and Tigress are awesome and very exciting! In addition to having interesting information about France and Indonesia in the story, the book also has Fun Facts at the back of the book about both countries. I love learning about different places around the world from Carmen Sandiego.
