The STEM Night Disaster (Kate the Chemist)
Kate the Chemist and the STEM Night Disaster is a good book. It is funny and exciting. It is about a girl called Kate Crawford and her friends. Their school is having a science fair thing called “STEM Night.” Kate is very excited about her project, but some unknown person is sabotaging it.
When I read Kate the Chemist and the STEM Night Disaster, my favorite thing about it was the suspense of finding out about the person who sabotaged Kate’s project. I think Kate Biberdorf is an awesome author. I think she does a nice job of making normal days seem different. She does an excellent job with making the projects at the STEM Night event make sense. I like that the science projects the book mentions are probably doable.
I recommend this book to anyone aged five to twelve. It would be good in any children’s library because lots of different kinds of kids would enjoy this book. I think it is really cool that Kate the Chemist and the STEM Night Disaster was written by a scientist.
