This book was about all of Shakespeare’s plays over time and his life. The characters in all of Shakespeare’s plays were very lifelike sometimes but also overreacted a lot. The language in the book was very easy to understand because they did not write it in Early Modern English, as the original plays were. The language flowed very well. The illustrations were very funny and entertaining, and I think there were just enough pictures for each play. Ages nine and up should read this book, especially if you like drama! I really recommend this book if you want to learn about Shakespeare’s plays without reading Early Modern English. “If it be love indeed, show me how much.”
