The Search for Sasquatch (A Wild Thing Book)
When Laura Krantz visits the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History, she finds an exhibit about a man named Grover Krantz. After asking her family, she learns that Grover was her first cousin twice removed. Grover was a scientist fascinated with the human body, human evolution, and Bigfoot. This interests Laura and she starts researching, interviewing squatchers, and searching for Bigfoot… But is Bigfoot real?
This nonfiction book is really interesting. I didn’t really know anything about Bigfoot before I read this book, and I learned a lot about sightings, how people search and learn about Bigfoot, and possible evidence people have found. The illustrations are funny, simple, and colorful. I really like the chapter when Laura tells people’s stories of possibly seeing Bigfoot.
