The Runaway Rabbit is one book in a series called Animal Rescue Center. This story is about a baby rabbit found in a shed by someone moving away. The rabbit is brought to the shelter. Ella, who lives with her family at the rescue center, tries to find the rabbit’s old home. Eventually she does find the owner. The owner was Ben, a boy whose family was moving to a new house. He wanted to bring his rabbit along to see the house. He didn’t tell his parents that he sneaked the rabbit into the car. But the rabbit got scared and ran away while they were at the new house. At Ben’s old home, his parents notice that the rabbit hutch is empty and think she escaped.

This is a great book for a kid who likes animals. It’s not hard to read, and it has some illustrations. Ella loves helping animals, and she’s really nice. She is good at solving problems, like when Ella puts up posters to find the rabbit’s owner. Ella notices that Ben is interested in the posters, and she sees him peeking in the windows of her family’s rescue center. If you like Ella and her family, you can read all the books in the series!
