The Raven Heir

Cordelia and her siblings have lived in a castle their entire lives with their sorceress mother, cut off from the world. Cordelia’s only method of freedom is her shapeshifting––being a bird is useful! Their mother keeps them in the castle for a reason: one of the triplets is the heir to the Raven Throne. However, she never told them who the heir is. No one has been able to keep the crown and their lives, and their mother wants to prevent that fate from befalling her child.

One day, invaders come searching for the Raven Heir, and Cordelia and her siblings have to run. Lost in a strange world where everyone seems to be an enemy, Cordelia knows she must act to save her family. Soon, dangerous secrets will come to light, and they can either heal a kingdom or shatter it forever.

This was an imaginative, entertaining tale about magic and family! All the triplets are given time to shine, and they all have cool powers that add to their characters. The plot was nicely developed, but a bit rushed in the second half. I would recommend this to fans of creative adventures with a lot of heart!
