The Postutopian Adventures of Darger and Surplus

The Postutopian Adventures of Darger and Surplus is a collection of short stories about the escapades of a humanoid Dog, Surplus, and his human companion, and partner in crime, Darger. Each story is filled to the brim with dark witticism, brilliant scheming, and crafty tricks.

I personally didn’t like the stories all that much. That’s not to say they were bad, they just weren’t my cup of tea so to speak. I think this book is more appropriate for mature readers, as there are many references to mature topics and activities in the stories.

These stories are fantasy/science fiction, so if you like those genres I would recommend giving this book a try.
