The Poo Poo Fairy
Paulina is a little fairy who goes to school to learn her talent. She finds out she is not very good at molar math or dancing like sugar plum fairies, and mixes up spells. When Paulina takes a field trip to help kids, Paulina finds a little boy who is crying because he does not know how to go potty on the big kid toilet. Pauline finds her talent. She is able to help the little boy learn to use the potty and everyone is so proud of him. Paulina becomes The Poo Poo Fairy who leaves gifts when you are learning to use the potty.
At first when I got this book to review, I thought it sounded silly, but after reading it, I loved The Poo Poo Fairy. The illustrations are bright, beautiful, and help tell much more of the story. I thought that it was funny when Paulina is trying to be a fairy godmother and the illustrations show her changing the dress into a carriage and a pumpkin into a dress. I think The Poo Poo Fairy is a fun way to help little kids learn to potty train. I just wish we could have received the doll that comes with the book to be able to comment on her.
