The Poem Forest: Poet W. S. Merwin and the Palm Tree Forest He Grew from Scratch

The Poem Forest is a great book if you like trees and playing outside. The man in the story plants a whole bunch of trees, and everybody tells him it’s a bad idea, but he keeps going anyway. He makes a beautiful wild place that is still there today, so it is cool that you could go visit it if you want. Stories about people who do good things are usually for all ages of kids and grown-ups, so everybody should read this. It is a good book for libraries, especially because it teaches kids how to make a good goal and never give up. There are some things that you will want to know more about because it is a short book, but it is still good.
