The Pirate’s Bed
The Pirate’s Bed is a great book! I really liked reading it because I love to read stories about pirates and their adventures. This story is special because it’s a story about a pirate who is sleeping in his bed during a really bad storm at sea. The pirate had the best dreams in this bed, but then during the storm the pirate’s ship is tossed and turned all around. The pirate ends up on an island while his bed floats in the ocean. The bed goes on all sorts of adventures. When the bed starts missing the pirate it ends up washing up on the island shore. A carpenter finds the bed and fixes it up. He puts the pirate’s bed up for sale and a family buys it for their son. The bed is passed down years later to his son. So, this is a special bed and a special book. This book is really interesting. I think that any kid would love this book. I think the book is illustrated well and I really enjoyed reading it.
