The Pigeon HAS to Go to School!

The Pigeon HAS to Go to School! is about a pigeon who doesn’t want to go to school. He worries too much. He calls himself “an itty-bitty not-going-to-school baby-waybie pigeon!” That is REALLY funny. When we open the book there is a silly bunch of information about the book. “Willems or Wontems, who knows?” “The Pigeon HAS to Go to School! Why does everybody keep saying that?” “I can count to 10. Watch me! 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10” and more are really, really funny! My younger brother, David, LOVES The Pigeon. He has every book about the Pigeon that Mo Willems has written! That is why I wanted to write a book review about the Pigeon’s latest adventure. Did you know there is a Pigeon MUSICAL being created? I didn’t know that, but I think it is very exciting! I like how the Pigeon ends up wanting to go to school, similar to other books where the Pigeon ends up going to bed or taking a bath. This book is for any Pigeon fan of any age, but most of all I recommend this book to my brother DAVID!
