The Numberlys
The Numberlys is a book about numbers and the alphabet. At the beginning, there was only numbers. Everybody liked numbers. It kept things organized. There weren’t any toys or food, other than gloopy, gloppy gray food. It didn’t look very yummy. The story is about five friends who think they can do something different, and who were tired of the same old thing. So they worked and worked and made the alphabet out of numbers. At first, it was awful, but then it turned out great! Words started to form and people had names. There was pizza, there were toys, there was everything!
The pictures in this book start out black and white and gray, but once the alphabet is created, everything is colorful. I think little kids would like this book. I think it’s a good way to learn about the alphabet and numbers.
