The Nazi Conspiracy: The Secret Plot to Kill Roosevelt, Stalin, and Churchill is a non-fiction book written by Brad Meltzer and Josh Mensch. Being a WWI/ WWII nerd, I thought I knew a lot about the World Wars until I came across this book. It introduced me to the meeting of the “Big Three” (Churchill, Stalin, and Roosevelt) and the spies who were in Iran when the Allies took over there.
The chapter structure is good, with lots of good pictures. The chapter titles are the locations and dates, which is helpful. And also, a little factoid, there were Nazi rallies in the United States! This surprised me because I thought Nazi rallies were mainly in German territories, so that was interesting.
What astounded me most was that this was a true story! I enjoy learning about history (especially WWI and WWII) because much of it remains relevant today, so this book, being written for young readers, was perfect. I was riveted by the assassination plot and learned so much about the events. I really enjoyed this book.
