The Mutts Diaries
This book is lots of comics. The first part of the book is about Mooch, a cat. Mooch likes to sing in the sock drawer about a little, pink sock. The sock is his BFF. (Really? It’s a sock!) Mooch drives an electric doll car. Mooch tries to change color like the leaves. He can’t. (It would be easy if he were a chameleon.) Mooch wears his mitten on his head in the snow. The next part is about Earl, a dog. Earl thinks his owner is “duh.” Sourpuss is another cat. Sourpuss is unhappy – and hates Mondays! Chickpea’s Diary is about two more cats. (More cats? Really? Some animals are outnumbered.) They both don’t have a home. They talk at the same time. They both get adopted. Crabby is a crab. He is not in a good mood. He talks in a lot of symbols. There’s another diary for Guard Dog. Bip and Bop are squirrels. They like to drop nuts on the other characters’ heads. People that like funny will like this book. I will read it again and again. I love the characters! (There were a few grumpy characters I didn’t like. I don’t like grumpy.)
