The Moon

The moon is beautiful and mysterious. Even though we can see it almost every night, there is still so much about it we don’t know. This book tells you about how people have thought about the moon starting from a very long time ago up until now, and what people think we will be doing with the moon in the future.

The book has really nice pictures that are interesting and beautiful, and the book’s pages are printed on heavy, attractive, and slick paper that makes it fun to hold while you are reading. It is full of great information. You may think you know everything there is to know about the moon, but you are sure to find something new! For example, this book will explain how the moon makes tides, and it also tells a Tlingit legend about how tides began. Other pages talk about moon myths from around the world, while still others talk about astronauts and what it might be like to live on the moon someday. It is a great mix of storytelling and fact-telling, and both are great for your imagination as you think about the moon. You will love reading this book again and again.
