This is an interesting book. Stitchhead wants to be a monster hunter, but what better way to try to catch a monster than to pretend to be a monster yourself? So imagine you are a monster, where would you hide, what would you do? Even better, maybe you could make your own monster to lure out the other monsters, plus a trip to the laboratory never hurt anyone.
I like the dark and grim black-and-white illustrations of this book. I also like the look of the weathered pages that make it look like a very old book. The illustrations of all the monsters were so detailed. I didn’t realize this was a series, but it seems the books are standalone, and I am definitely going to check out the others.
