The Monkey Goes Bananas
There is a monkey and he wants the bananas. But the bananas are on an island where the monkey isn’t on that island. The monkey tries to get the bananas. He walks across the water and he falls in and he sees a big black thing and it’s a shark! And he runs away from the shark and he has an idea. He gets stilts but then he says, “Uh-oh!” because he falls in a hole. Then the monkey tries to use a fishing pole – the panda bamboo with bait for the shark, but the shark eats it and chomps the monkey! The monkey gets out, and he finds some vines to be safe. He throws the vines over to the bananas and he gets a banana! And then what happens? He flies away – he woops away! And he drops a banana and the shark gets to eat it! This book is so funny and fun and I like it. I like the monkey, but I feel sad for him because he doesn’t get his banana. I would just feed it to him and take care of him and get rid of the shark!
