The Mole and the Mound

Description

When Mole starts digging a hole, his friends just wonder why anyone would want to live in the dirt. Then Mole invites his friends in, but Bee laughs at him, and Bird tells him his nest is best. Mole keeps on digging no matter what they think. Beaver thinks his lodge is the greatest thing ever. Yet, Mole keeps digging. One day a storm blows over, and the storm knocks down the other animals’ homes. What good is a nest if it has no roof? So the animals have no choice but to go down into Mole’s house. They see his burrow is very fancy.
This is a really fun book, and I really like seeing how Mole’s house has many rooms and is decorated really nicely.
